The Assessor of the Year Award is sponsored annually by the Maine Association of Assessing Officers
Association (MAAO) to recognize professional and dedicated service by an Assessor to his/her
profession and community.

Legacy Award

The Legacy award is sponsored annually by the Maine Association of Assessing Officers Association
(MAAO) to recognize years of dedicated service and excellence as a Maine assessor. The recipient of
the Legacy award has left a footprint in the Maine assessing community through education, leadership,
service, and a track record of high ethical standards.
